午後、あーちゃんを探しに行くと、
いつものように高いところから私を見下ろしていました。
「あ、また来たの？」とでも言っているのでしょうか。
"I was planning to take a nap,
but you want me to come down, right?"
「お昼寝しようと思っていたんだけど、
来て欲しい？」
And I had watermelon in my hands.
It was so easy to hold ErXi today,
he came rushing towards me.
(Or should I say, the watermelons)
今日はスイカを持っていたため、
あーちゃんはすぐに急いで降りてきて
くれました。私に会いに来たというより
スイカが欲しくて下りてきたと言った方が
正確ですね・・・。残念ですが。
ErXi concentrates on his watermelon for a while.
あーちゃん、しばらくはスイカに専念していました。
YaYun also came down to get her treat.

ヤーユンもスイカが欲しくて降りてきました。
左がやーちゃん、右があーちゃんです。
ErXi and YaYun have a very close relationship.
Everytime I see them, they are staying together.
Or maybe they are just fighting over their favorite watermelon.
あーちゃんとやーちゃんはとても仲が良いみたいです。
ここに来るといつも一緒にいます。おやつを取り合ったり
ダンゴになって転がっています。
スイカを堪能中のあーちゃん。
ここ数日、スイカをあげているので、
だいぶ懐いてくれるようになりました。
「美味しいね！」

やーちゃんです。2010年生まれ組の中で
生まれが遅かったこともあり一番小さい子です。

最後のスイカを楽しんでいるやーちゃんと
器に鼻を突っ込んで本当にもうスイカがないのか
疑っているあーちゃん。
As I was staying there for a while,
ZhengQiao and YuenLin also came
to bite my boots.
しばらく皆の様子を眺めていたら、
ジェンチャオとユェンリンも木から降りてきてくれました。
必死に私のブーツを噛んでいます。
ErXi starts to play with bamboo.
He does not know how to eat bamboo yet.
あーちゃん、竹を持って遊び始めました。
まだ食べ物だということが理解出来て
いないみたいです。もう少しすると
大人パンダ達と同じ竹も食べ始めます。
ErXi had some fun in the bush
and has lots of seads on his face.
繁みに入ってしばらく遊んでいたあーちゃん、
顔に何かの実のようなものを沢山つけて
出てきました。犬もこういうことしますよね。
Pandas have their sixth finger,
which makes it easier for them to
hold on to bamboo when they eat.
パンダは通常の5本の指以外に
第六の指と言われるものを持っており、
竹をつかむのに役立っているんです。
手のひらの下の方にあるのがそれです。
This is ZhenQiao.
She prefers to stay on a different
tree from others.
他の子達と離れたところで木に登って
休憩中のジェンチャオ。
She soon comes down to play
with her friends.
登ってもすぐに降りて来てくれました。
And she is in love with my boots.
私のブーツが大好きなようで、
いつもかじっています。
She is very active and plays with her
favorite play equipment.
とても活発な子で、いつも動き回っています。
She sometimes stays in the bush
where no one can see her.
時々動きすぎて疲れてしまうのか、
誰もいない繁みに入ってのんびり
草をかじったりします。
Tomorrow I will take care of KouHin (XingBang).
I can't wait to see him!
