"Pambassador" Day 6 in Chengdu

Hi everyone!

This morning, we cleaned the enclosure of Si Yuan, a cute Panda with
white fur on her hands that looks like she's wearing white gloves and
gave her some bamboo shoots for breakfast.
As I was throwing the bamboo shoots for her,
I lost control and some of them hit her.
She jumped up and seemed like she was so
surprised.

Si Yuan, enjoying her breakfast with
all the bamboo on her stomach. So cute!

Afterwards, we built platforms for Pandas!
It's like a gungle gym, and our team added swings for Pandas.
Just imagine, pandas don't go hanging out for drinks with
friends like we do. They stay here all day, and we wanted to
make the platform confortable to play with, and we hope that they will enjoy it!

We also learned about 8 kinds of Bamboo,
to be able to recognize them all.
Some of them are Panda's favorite, and
some of them are just for decoration.
It's so hard to tell the difference though,
they are all BAMBOO. We tried to
figure out the differences, and it was quite
interesting.

We also made Panda cakes. They look like the
Chinese traditional cakes 月餅 that we often eat around the
中秋節 and 国慶節. I hope they like it! It is made of
wheat, corn and other nutritious ingredients.

Panda cakes. They look delicious, but they don't have taste.
It's like brown whole wheat bread, maybe good with
butter or cheese!

More to come tomorrow!
And we have to prepare for our final stage that will be held on
the 29th Sep. Staying up until late at night and studying in my room
just reminds me of exams at college...

See you tomorrow!
