This morning I went to the Sunshine Nursary.
This is ErXi, born July 26 2010, and his mother is
the famous mother ErYaTou.
Now he weighs 9kg and can walk around!
He is so active!

ErYaTou and Er Xi.
ErYaTou used to hold ErXi all the time until a few weeks ago
to keep him warm and safe, but now that
ErXi has grown so big, she lets him walk around freely
and takes a nap. ErXi is curious about everything he
sees, and walked around and around so many times.
This is YaYun born September 10 2010.
Her mother is also the famous mother YaYa.
Today she weighed 4853g. The smallest among the
7 new born babies this year at the Panda Base.
YaYun is still tiny, but she can smile!
The keeper carried YaYun so that I could take
pictures! She's so kind.

As soon as the keeper brings YaYun back from
health check, YaYa walks quietly towards her
baby and holds her carefully.
YaYa is a great mother. And she is 20 years old
but is healthy and looks young! Sophie, my great
assistant told me that she saw YaYa climb a tree easily
last year.
This is JiaoQing born July 15 2010 striking a pose.
He holds on the bar and moves around
in a square. He sometimes trips over other pandas
but seem to be OK every time. And of course,
the other Pandas are Ok too.
