JiaoZi, and XiaoYaTou.
日本の皆様、お待たせしました、
久しぶりに白浜生まれの雄浜についてのブログです。
先月成都に来た時雄浜は太陽産房にいて、
パンダにとって大切な繁殖の季節でもあったため
飼育をするタイミングがありませんでした。
今朝は、成年エリアで雄浜の飼育をしました。

A peacock comes by but YuHin doesn't care.
朝一番の雄浜。
クジャクが入ってきても知らんぷりです。
"I'm not ready to wake up yet..."
「まだ起きないよー」
After cleaning YuHin's inside enclosure,
we called him to come inside. The temperature was
already high at the Panda Base, and the Pandas
needed to come inside at around 10.
雄浜の室内場の掃除を終えたところで10時頃
気温も上がってきたため、中に呼び戻そうとしました。
We called his name in Chinese and Japanese,
but YuHin does not move.
飼育員が中国語で、私が日本語で呼びかけますが、
全く動こうとしません。困ったものです。
（それでも日本語で名前を呼ぶと、
顔を上げて反応を示していました。
さすが賢い雄浜です。今でもバイリンガルです。）
Well, he does move sometimes like this.
とはいえ、このくらいは動いてくれるのですが・・・。
The keeper Ms. Bai had to go inside YuHin's den
to call him inside. YuHin finally woke up and started
to make his move. Keepers do not usually enter
adult pandas enclosures. I was watching from
outside so that I could tell her right away if YuHin
comes close to her.
なんと、飼育員が雄浜の屋外運動場に
呼びに行ってしまいました。雄浜はようやく
起きる気になってくれたようです。
＊通常、1歳半以上のパンダのエリアに
人は入れません。この時も、私が外から
監視し、雄浜のいる場所を確認しながら
飼育員に知らせていました。危険ですので、
絶対に大人パンダのエリアには入らないでくださいね。
"I don't understand why everyone is calling me to come inside!"
「どうして皆そんなにしつこく僕を呼ぶの？」
"Oh well, I might as well do as I've been told"
「でも、とりあえず言われた通りにしよーっと」
"HELLLOOOOO, thank you for
cleaning my enclosure today!"
「今日はキレイに掃除してくれてありがとう！」
Panda Cakes arrived at around 10:30
and YuHin started to eat.
He must have been very hungry today.
And this is my favorite angle.
パンダケーキが10時半頃到着しました。
雄浜は余程お腹がすいていたのか
すぐに食べはじめます。
以前雄浜の飼育をした時は、日によって
食べたり食べなかったりしていたのですが、
今日は食欲も旺盛なようです。
このアングル、私のお気に入りです。
"Panda Cakes are so tasty today!"
「今日のパンダケーキ、美味しいね！」
蒸しあがりの状態が日によって
少し異なるようで、崩れやすかったり
固かったりすることもあります。
Here is a picture of Panda Cakes that I cooked last year.
We put them in a mold just like Chinese mooncakes and
steam them.
昨年パンダケーキを作った時に撮影した写真。
中国の月餅の型に入れて形を作り、蒸します。
手間暇かかるんです。
Soon after, he stands up to poop on his bamboo.
Sorry, I don't know the polite way to say this.
しばらくした後、突然立ち上がって
好物の竹の上で糞をしてしまいました。
Then he starts to eat bamboo,
covered with his own feces.
そして糞まみれの竹を食べ始めました。
（パンダの糞は笹のいい匂いがします。）
He shows his cute face with a piece of
leaf on his head. How charming!
He reminds me of EiMei, YuHin's
father in Japan. The Japan born Pandas in
Adventure World all have the long nose
and Mickey mouse ears.
葉っぱを頭に乗せて可愛い顔をしてくれます。
お父さんの永明に似て鼻が長くて
耳がミッキーマウスみたいで可愛い！
雄浜は、いつも頭に何かをつけている
印象があります。
After eating for a while, he decided to
take a nap. Again.
しばらく食べるのに夢中だった雄浜、
やはり眠かったのか、昼寝をすることにしました。
He climbs his bed and starts to sleep.
ちゃんとベッドに乗り、お行儀よく寝始めました。
"Don't disturb me OK? I need lots of sleep to keep fit."
「健康のためにも沢山寝ないとね！邪魔しないでね！」
This is JiaoZi, born in 1995.
She is a younger sister of MeiMei that was in
Adventure World in Japan.
JiaoZi gave birth to JiaoQing last year,
the small cub with the cute flat face.
こちらは1995年生まれのジャオズです。
白浜にいた梅梅の妹でもあります。
昨年、赤ちゃんを産みました。
平べったい顔をした人懐っこいジャオズです。
（明日写真が撮れたらアップします）
She came over to say Hi, but after a while she
started to take a nap on her bed.
わざわざ挨拶に来てくれたのですが、
やはり彼女も眠かったようで、
すぐに昼寝をはじめてしまいました。
This is XiaoYaTou born in 2006.
She has a cute round face, and has the resemblence of her
mother ErYaTou.
こちらは2006年生まれのシャオヤートです。
去年生まれたあーちゃんお母さん、アルヤートに似て
丸い顔が特徴です。
She can even sleep on her weighing scale.
体重計の上でも寝ます。
Tomorrow I will be at the Sunshine Nursery to
take care of YaYa and 2010 born cubs.
明日は太陽産房でヤーヤーと2010年生まれの
子パンダ達の飼育をします。
